Course Description
This one-hour remote training session led by Neurodiversity Assessments, aims to enhance understanding of neurodiversity among council members and staff, promoting inclusive communication and collaboration. The session will cover key concepts, practical strategies, and actionable adaptations to create a supportive environment for both employees, elected members and community members.
The session will conclude with a discussion on the benefits of embracing neurodiversity within parish and town councils, emphasising the positive impact on community engagement and workplace culture. Participants will leave with practical strategies to foster an inclusive environment that values the contributions of all individuals as well as information about the mentorship programs offered by Neurodiversity Assessments to further support neurodiverse employees and elected members.
This is an interactive course and offers the opportunity to network with Clerks and Councillors from Councils across Northamptonshire to share best practice and ideas.
