National Association of Local Councils 

The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) represents the interests of over 10,000 parish and local councils at national level. Through a Service Level Agreement with County Associations, local councils have access to its services.

East Midlands and Yorkshire Associations of Local Councils (EMYA)

The Federation of East Midlands Associations of Local Councils (FEMALC) was created in 1999 to provide regional representation for the parish council network across five East Midlands county associations.

  •     Derbyshire

  •     East Midlands and Northern Lincolnshire

  •     Leicestershire and Rutlands

  •     Lincolnshire

  •     Northamptonshire

  •     Nottinmghamshire

  •     Yorkshire

Regular meetings are held between the Chief Officers of these associations, alongside representatives from their respective Executive Committees or Boards of Directors, with responsibility for EMYA’s administration rotating annually between the partner associations.
