Energy Buying Partnership

Our partner, Clear Utility Solutions (CUS), is excited to announce that it has saved over half a millions pounds of public money and prevented 690,000 kg of CO2e emissions across England with their council energy buying scheme.  Since the scheme was created just over 3 years ago it has gone from strength to strength with recent expansion across the east of England (see more about CUS and the scheme in this video: Council Association Energy Scheme Presentation.mp4).  The group purchasing power of the scheme now allows CUS to be even more competitive with suppliers regularly competing to win parish and town council energy contracts – driving prices down.  Chris Draper – Director at CUS said “I am extremely proud of what we have achieved so far, with the continued support of the county association partnerships the sky is the limit on what we can achieve.  I would like to say a big thank you to all clerks and councillors who have come to us so far and as always, whatever the question or query we are here if you need us”.  For full details please see https://www.clearutilitysolutions.com/ncalc-partnership.
