Mike Deegan is a seasoned consultant, trainer, and former parish councillor with extensive experience supporting local councils, charities, and community organisations. He has developed funding strategies, delivered training webinars, and facilitated development days, while also serving on the Staffordshire LEADER Local Action Group, helping award nearly £3 million to rural projects. As a parish councillor from 2011 to 2018, Mike led successful initiatives including securing £200,000 in external funding, launching youth and library services, and developing a communications strategy that contributed to Quality Gold status.
